Her Future Hub – From Daily Survival to Sustainable Livelihood Opportunities

Every day across Afghanistan, women and girls work long hours in informal street-based activities to support their families. Many sell low-value goods under difficult conditions and have limited opportunities to build stable income for the future.

Her Future Hub is ANAFAE’s flagship initiative to transform existing educational centers into fully equipped Vocational Incubation Hubs where women and girls can transition from unstable daily survival toward sustainable economic opportunity.

Project Duration: 18 Months

Target Location: Kabul, Balkh and Parwan Provinces

This project will support 800 vulnerable women and girls through:

• Fully equipped vocational incubation hubs.
• Market-oriented technical training.
• Temporary livelihood support during training and post-graduation support packages.
• Entrepreneurship and business mentoring.
• Market linkages and access to income-generating opportunities.

Priority will be given to:

• Women and girls engaged in unstable, informal work
• Female-headed households
• Out-of-school girls
• Low-income and vulnerable families

• Food Processing
• English Language and Computer Training
• Mobile & Computer Repair
• Solar Systems
• Graphic Design
• SIYB Business Creation and Development Training

This initiative creates an enabling environment where participants can continue supporting their households while developing skills for stronger and more sustainable livelihoods.

Expected Results:

• 4 operational incubation hubs
• 800 women and girls trained
• At least 70% of participants transition into income-generating activities
• Temporary livelihood support provided during training
