ANAFAE’s Participation in BLDC Workshop of ASPBAE

Afghan National Association for Adult Education (ANAFAE) is an active member of Asia South Pacific Association for Basic Adult Education (ASPBAE). As anbldc-3 active member of ASPBA, ANAFAE’s representative, Ameer Khan Ameer (Master Trainer for the English Language at ANAFAE educational centers (ALCs/CLCs) in Afghanistan) attended the Basic Leadership Development Course (BLDC – 2017) in Ulaanbaatar Mangolia.

The Basic Leadership Development Course (BLDC – 2017) began on 11th November, 2017 with warm welcome of Mangolia, participants’ acquaintance, orientation to the BLDC – 2017, overview of the Adult Learning Principles as well as Ulaan Baatar City Tour including visit of Historical Statues and National Museum of Mangolia.

Consequently, the BLDC ended on 17th November – 2017, with lots of getting experiences, achievements, meaningful activities, fun and unforgettable memories, which was hosted by Mangolian Education Alliance (MEA) and organized by the BLDC organizer Asia South Pacific Association for Basic and Adult Education (ASPBAE) at Ulaanbaatar – Mangolia.bldc-2
In which the participants were invited from many Asian countries and they have focused on perspectives of Adult Education and Lifelong Learning, Global Citizenship Education, Learning Synthesis from the Site Visits, integrated frameworks for Adult Education (AE) and Lifelong Learning(LLL).

In addition, Gender Equality, Equity and Education, Skills enhancement, Education Advocacy, Youth Led Action Research as an approach to youth engagement and education including Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) have been discussed in this workshop.
